Organization

Boss Reclamation, LLC  is organized in New Mexico as a Limited Liability Company and is engaged in the business of watershed restoration and fuels reduction, specializing in the control of phreatophytes (salt cedar and Russian olive).

The company is owned by Rick Evans of Ruidoso, NM and Luke Thompson of Dimmitt, Texas. Rick Evans is in charge of administration, accounting, and contracting. Luke Thompson is in charge of operations.

To date, most of Boss's work has been in New Mexico and West Texas, but the company can and will respond to opportunities in other states upon request.

Boss Certifications and Experience

Since 2001, Boss has extracted trees on thousands of acres of land, including well over 3000 acres of salt cedar and Russian olive, Our company is a contractor in good standing with the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, NRCS, and various other Federal and State agencies that engage in hazardous fuels reduction, watershed restoration, and removal of non native trees (phreatophytes).

Boss is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and the Payment Advice Internet Delivery System (PAID) of the federal government. Additional Boss certifications can be found online in ORCA.

Boss’s senior heavy equipment operators have been with the company for years and have thousands of hours of experience in the extraction of all types of trees and brush.

Our salt cedar and Russian olive work over the past five years has primarily been in watersheds along the Pecos, Rio Grande, and Chama rivers in New Mexico.  Other tree removal services have been provided on select rangelands in NM and Texas.
